Prepare and serve beverages, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and manage stock of refreshments and consumables.

Responsibilities

• Serving refreshments to Administration employees, Management, and visitors
• Overall management of the kitchen by ensuring that the kitchen is kept clean in a spotless and hygienic condition, crockery/cutlery washed, cupboards, dish towels are washed and packed daily
• Take responsibility for all assets (equipment), manage stock of refreshments, cleaning materials and stationery and request for replenishments
• To prepare conference rooms for meetings ie Refreshments, projector, air- conditioning and coordinate conference room bookings
• Sorting of mail/letters received from Rietvlei and the post office daily

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Drivers License, Code 8
• Two years experience of serving refreshments and catering

Application instructions:

• The potential appointment to this position shall be subject to serving a MAXIMUM probation period of up to 12 months, based on a FLEXIBLE monthly probation evaluation process before confirmation of permanent employment in Rand Water
